Changes, updates on minimum wages

The Short-Term Work Permit and Single Permit for Local Hire categories are subject to the following minimum salary requirements.

1. At least 80% of the actual average salary for the position as determined in the National Occupations Classification System (FEOR).
2. The salary must not be lower than the national minimum wage, namely
   • HUF 266,800.00 gross/month for positions that do not require any qualification,
   • HUF 326,000.00 gross/month for positions that do require some qualification.  
      

The EU ICT Permit category is subject to the minimum salary requirements, i.e. at least 100% of the actual average salary for the specific position as determined in the National Occupations Classification System (FEOR).
